IN THE FLEET MANAGEMENT, NOVATED LEASING OR SALARY PACKAGING SPACE
When considering career opportunities there is none more attractive than the Automotive Sector. In particular, the Fleet Management, Novated Leasing and Salary Packaging space. They are incredibly vibrant sectors and provide entry-level through to senior management opportunities. Based on recent IBIS World Stats the Fleet Management sector employs 2190 people across 393 businesses within Australia (these figures do not relate to the general auto space).
Many people have built successful careers within the fleet sectors without formal qualifications. I have been privileged to see candidates who I placed in junior admin roles work their way up through the industry and now sit in management positions. Two of those now own their own companies and are thriving. Interest in the industry, commitment, ongoing learning, and development have seen these types of successes. Organisations will invest in ‘U’ if ‘U’ invest in them.
