It’s that time of year again – Secret Santa season! Whether you are a seasoned gifting guru or a last-minute shopper who panics at the sight of tinsel, we’re here to make sure your Secret Santa game is on point. First and foremost, nominate who is running your Secret Santa this year and then download the Draw Names App on your phone – send it to your group (team, colleagues etc) and from there Secret Santa begins … this is a great app and so easy for everyone to use!

Nobody wants to feel like a Grinch, but going overboard can make everyone else look bad. Keep it reasonable – this isn’t a bidding war for Santa’s affection.

KEEP IT OFFICE APPROPRIATE …

Funny mugs = a thumbs up! Inside jokes from the office Xmas party = a thumbs down! Remember HR is watching and following some sensible guidelines is advised.

GET CREATIVE – NOT GENERIC …

If you’re tempted to grab a last-minute box of chocolates, think again. A small, thoughtful gift like a mini plant, a quirky desk accessory, or even a cool coffee blend can go a long way.

AVOID THE GIFT CARD COP-OUT …

Sure, gift cards are easy, but they scream “I forgot!” If you must, jazz it up – pair it with a handwritten note or a fun little extra.

KNOW WHEN TO LAUGH …

Gag gifts can be a hit but tread carefully. That hilarious calendar? Gold. That questionable “bathroom humour” book? Maybe not.

BONUS TIP – IF ALL ELSE FAILS …
